For the last 20+ years. David, he has been traveling the country competing and training both horses and riders to engage in the ancient combat sport of Full Contact Jousting.
Through his travels he discovered BJJ and Muay Thai and fell in love with both arts.
Over the years, he has trained at a lot of different gyms across the country, receiving his BJJ purple belt in 2017 under Clayton Lyon. David and his wife have trained with Insight every spring since 2015, and they have now decided to make Bastrop and Insight BJJ their home.
